The Molten Caverns is a region in the Fjordur DLC.

Overview

It's a cave with a lava biome. It's very hot (35 °C/95 °F).

Its entrance (20.8/57.4) is quite easy to find during the night as it's enlightened by big orange crystals.

You'll find a lot of  Loot Crates but you sometimes have to climb to reach them.

The path in the first room is the harder, following rooms are spaceful and easy to walk in.

• A lot of  Onycs
• Falling in lava

Recommanded gears

•  Crossbow and  Grappling Hooks
•  Antidote against  Mega Rabies

Recommanded tames

Prefer mounts that can jump as there are a lot of lava rivers to jump.  Baryonyx or  Thylacoleo are good choices. Desmodus are also effective due to their ability to fly in the cave.
