Crab Island is an island to the far South-West of the Map Ebenus Astrum.

Overview

Crab Island is a small island in the South-West corner of the Map Ebenus Astrum. The island comprises an idyllic cove with a beach, surrounded by, resource rich, hills. There are no carnivores on the island but plenty of herbivores roam the beaches and hills. Currently there are no Dodos on the island but, rumour has it that they will be in a future update.

You can not spawn on Crab Island but many survivors find the island an ideal base location as there are large quantities of resources for building and gaining more advanced weapons, tools and armour available. Other survivors find the slow pace of life and remoteness of location unsuitable for their needs.

Crab Island does provide a perfect spot for a water base, the cove has two, water, entrances both of which can be blocked off and defended from the sea and the waters of the bay are of sufficient depth to accommodate most medium sized water-based dinos.
