The Oasis Dunes is a region in Scorched Earth.

Overview

The Oasis Dunes are not one single location like most named areas, but rather several small areas scattered throughout the dunes, usually within sight of the map's core area but not always. They provide welcome refuge from the hostile surroundings with water veins, berry bushes, as well as stone and plentiful wood and thatch in the form of desert palms. Some even have cooler temperatures, allowing nomadic survivors or risky base builders to survive the dunes' deadly afternoon heat.

None; however any creature nearby can easily wander into these areas

Notes

• Not all dune water sources have an oasis around them or lower temperatures. Occationally water veins can be found randomly at the bases of dunes, but the lack of a visual guide makes them hard to discover from the ground.
• While these oasises do not have any animal spawns in them, they are very small, which means any creature roaming nearby, potentially including the Death Worm, can easily wander in off the dunes. They are not a place to drop your guard!
