Data maps

The data maps can be used to find and visualize various strategic locations and general map-based information on ARK: Survival Evolved's maps.

Resource Maps

The resource maps display the locations that most primary resources- excluding trees and rocks- can be found on each of the Arks. They can be used to find a good location to farm materials, discover what area the player must prepare for before setting out in search of their next material objective, or to ensure a base location that has good access to core resources without blocking spawns. To the left of each map, there is a toggle for all its resources, so the user can adjust it to display only the information most relevant to them. They could set it to display only crystal nodes, silica pearls and oil, anything that isn't obsidian, or any other combination that is desired. Additionally, the maps can be toggled to not- or only- display nodes in caves, to avoid confusion when looking for only resources that are immediately accessible for a player's current gear and tames.
