The Longbow is a Weapon in the Primitive+-DLC of ARK: Survival Evolved.

Usage

To load a type of arrows, just drag & drop the arrows on the bow in the inventory.

When loaded with Stone Arrows, the Bow can be used as a ranged weapon to hunt and kill other players or creatures.

When loaded with Tranquilizer Arrows, it can be used to knock other players or creatures unconscious by rapidly increasing their Torpor. The target will immediately gain Torpor equal to 200% of the damage dealt by the shot, plus an additional 250% over the next 4 seconds. Many creatures will take about 2.5 times as much damage if you shoot them in the head. Torpor gain from Tranquilizer Arrows does scale with this boost. Unlike the Crossbow, the Bow is incapable of firing underwater. You can stand above the water and fire into it, but the arrow won't go very far.
