Flak Armor is one of the armor sets in ARK: Survival Evolved. It is unlocked at Level 56, costing 20 Engram Points for the helmet, 18 Engram Points for the chestpiece, 16 Engram Points for the gauntlets and boots and 15 Engram Points for the leggings for a total of 85 Engram Points for the full set.
Flak Armor provides high physical protection and decent cold protection, though it does make the user more susceptible to heat. It is a great mid-lategame armor set for combat, allowing the user to shrug off most attacks with ease (provided they have enough 
Health to withstand a concentrated assault). However, Flak Armor generally isn't the best armor for exploration due to its low temperature resistances.
A full set of Flak Armor provides 500 armor, 60 cold protection, and -25 heat protection. Each piece of Flak Armor has 120 Durability.

Notes
- Flak Armor is the strongest armor set that can be crafted at a
Smithy.
- As Flak Armor provides almost as much protection as
Riot Armor, combined with the fact that it is both easier to craft/repair and unlocked much sooner for less Engram Points, many players prefer to use Flak Armor in combat scenarios unless they obtain high quality pieces of Riot Armor from sources like 
Deep Sea Loot Crates.
