On a recent venture back to the Island surface, I spent some time studying the natural beauty of the landscape. Walking through the forests, perusing the rivers and streams; I even took a walk along the beach. I was halfway through a handful of skipping stones when I noticed that the texture of the item in my hand was not that of an ordinary rock. It was, in fact, a piece of Amber! For a moment I thought myself mad, why would this glorious resource just be lying on the beach? I, of course, immediately returned to my lab to conduct more research.

In examining the Amber, I have found that the DNA contained in the Amber is nearly an identical match to that of creatures that have undergone experimentation, rather than that of existing creatures on the Island. It sounds impossible - it is impossible - but using a number of tools that I was able to pilfer from the Manor before my dismissal, I was able to identify the makeup of the stones and my beasts as the very same. I cannot waste further time in this endeavor, I cannot afford further distraction when I am so close to the truth - I will not be returning to the surface until I have all of the answers.

The Gula Beetle Pt. Note is a Trophy in ARK: Survival Evolved Mobile.

The Gula Beetle Pt. Note is given to any player who has defeated the  Gula Beetle. The Gula Beetle Pt. Note can be displayed on an  Artifact Pedestal to display a hologram revealing more about the Gula Beetle.

  • This note seems to reference the fact that you have a small chance at getting  Ancient Amber when you gather stones at the beach.
