ป่า
Arguably the deadliest creature on the Island, Tyrannosaurus dominum is a killing machine. Active mostly when hunting for food or defending its nest, a good plan is to avoid every Tyrannosaurus.
It is pure power -- from its stomp to its tail. It is not able to intimidate every foe with its roar, but upon hearing it, it might scare the poop out of you - quite literally.
Despite being a different sub-species of Tyrannosaurus, everyone I've met still refers to them as a "Rex" or a "T-Rex". I've long since stopped trying to convince anyone, especially the few who I've encountered wearing Tyrannosaurus teeth as necklaces.
เชื่อง
Taming a Tyrannosaurus is without a doubt the goal for any warlord or warring tribe. Tyrannosaurus is a fierce battle companion. There is a reason Tyrannosaurus is considered the king of dinosaurs (or in this genus, the "lord"). Any tribe that manages to tame one has almost nothing to fear.
This section displays the Rex's natural colors and regions. For demonstration, the regions below are colored red over an albino Rex. The colored squares shown underneath each region's description are the colors that the Rex will randomly spawn with to provide an overall range of its natural color scheme. Hover your cursor over a color to display its name and ID.
This information can be used to alter the Rex's regions by entering cheat SetTargetDinoColor <ColorRegion> <ColorID> in the cheat console. For instance, cheat SetTargetDinoColor 0 6 would color the Rex's "body" magenta.

Tek Rex (Variant)
The Tek Rex is a creature that was permanently added to the game with the ARK: ARKaeology event and is part of the Extinction Chronicles I event. It is a unique alternate of the original Rex, and is purely made of Tek. Unlike the original, they spawn at a 5% rate at a 20% higher level than usual.
Type in values of a wild creature to see on which stats it's emphasized. Green values on a high-level creature are very good for breeding. If you have already tamed your creature you can try to recover the breeding stats with an external tool.[1]
Rex
The stat-calculator does not work in the mobile-view, see here for alternatives: Apps
Note that after the creature is tamed it gets bonuses on some stats depending on the taming effectiveness. This makes it hard to retrieve the levels on a tamed creature, so this tool is only for wild ones, but gives a first impression, how well the stats are distributed.
The Rex unleashes a menacing roar to frighten enemies, causing them to defecate and get stunned for a short time. Flyers also get grounded.
To be affected, the target's Drag Weight must be 200 or less, and their level must be lower than the Rex's. Targets must also not have been frightened in past 6 minutes to prevent "poop-locking".
Survivor's / Rider's Fortitude is considered in addition to the pure level of a potential target. Each full point means 10 / 5 extra levels.
Receives a model update, animation update, and some new abilities:
Its roar should receive a cooldown and make non-allies (under a certain dragweight) Poop to act as a small stun/interrupt. There will be a cooldown on victims so that they cannot be poop-locked continuously
The roar will not be able to scare anything above its level
Roar will cause players to poop but not stun them
Rex's ability to climb over small rocks and steeper slopes have been improved
Removed PaintRegion 3 (former Back region)
Fortitude now provides some resistance versus the effects of the Rex Roar, and this resistance carries onto player-ridden dinos too. Enough fortitude can prevent player-ridden dinos from being poop-stunned
