Wild

Saltasaurus Armis is the Island's smallest sauropod. Not counting the neck, Saltasaurus is even smaller than Stegosaurus! While small and agile, this doesn't mean that Saltasaurus is a weak herbivore. Rather, it evolved to have a thick body armor, causing it to be heavily resistant to damage.

Domesticated

While its small stature means that it has less health and weight than Brontosaurus, its thick armor means it is resistant to most torpor attacks. However, once tamed, Saltasaurus makes a wonderful tame, both for aggressive and peaceful tribes. Both strong and an efficient gatherer, Saltasaurus is a dinosaur for everyone.

Knockout Tame Strategy

What you need: An ascendant longneck and shocking tranq darts, and a pump-action shotgun. A magnifying glass is recommended. How to tame: First shoot at the Salta with your shotgun until its armor breaks (You will know when you start to deal more damage to it). Then you have to shoot it with shocking tranq darts. If it regrows its armor, Shoot it with the shotgun more. You can heal it with a Snow Owl if it gets too low.

Controls

• - This key triggers the front stomp. This attack does the most damage out of all of Saltasaurus' attacks.
• - This key is the tail swing. This attack has a decent sized AOE, provides some knockback and is also directional.
• C - This key is the dust attack. Leaves a cloud of dust and slows anything that walks through it.

Tank: The saltasaurus takes reduced damage, making it a good tank.
