The Shovel is a tool in the ARK: Bob's Tall Tales DLC from  ARK: Survival Ascended.

Obtaining

Player must own ARK: Bob's Tall Tales to craft it, in a  Smithy.

Usage

It's used as any tool with Lmb, , , .

• It digs up a Treasure Chest (Frontier Adventure Pack) shown by a Treasure Chest Map.
• It buries a Treasure Chest laid on the ground and generates a Treasure Chest Map to find it back. This feature lasts 2 days. After what the map disappears.
• It raises by 30% the effectiveness of a  Crop Plot, then 20% over time.
• Hitting the natural ground flows a spring at which the player can drink (use E, , , to drink) and fill its  Waterskin if he uses it when looking at the spring). It's single use, after what a message will warn the player that water is depleted in the area.
• When the spring is flowing, the player can open its inventory to place any item he wants, of which a water container that will be filled, but this inventory will be replaced by an inventory bag on the ground when the spring will be off.
• It digs up most of the wild Plants if the player owns a File:Plant Pot.png Plant Pot in its inventory. The targeted plant will then display in the pot.
