The Core Structure of the Simple_Trade Mod.

Describable as a trading table or optionally as a market stall, it serves as the go-to spot for trading with other players. Set up by players, the owning tribe can stock it with offers, thus generating profits through the buying or selling of items and (later) dinosaurs.

Wie geht das nun?

When a Trade Table is newly placed, navigation starts in the Radial Wheel:

View Sales - Here, you and every other player can view active offers and conduct purchases/sales.

Set Sign Text - Here, the owner/owning tribe can change the text of the advertising sign.

Shop Manager - Here, the owner/owning tribe sets up the offers.

Global Settings - This entry is only visible for players as an active admin and provides access to the global settings.

View Sales

The owner's offers are neatly and clearly listed for the customer.

Above, you can choose which type of offers to show, sales or purchases.

All pricing information is displayed in orange at the bottom part of the offer, along with additional information such as the description, important values for armor, weapons, and saddles, and manufacturing costs for blueprints.

To buy an offer or sell items matching the offer, press on the offer and confirm the purchase/sale with the head button at the bottom.

Set Sign Text

In this interface, the owner can set the sign text/slogan of the Trade Table.

This is possible up to three lines and 26 characters each.

With the "Set" button, the text is transferred to the sign.

Shop Manager

The Shop Manager is used by the owner/owning tribe to create and manage offers.

This is done in two ways:

For Sales

Items that are listed from the player's inventory are created as sales. To do this, select the item from the list on the right.

Once it is visible in the center, you can set the price per sale, the quantity per sale, and number of sales. As assistance, above the "Create Sale" button, the price per item, the profit if all items from this offer are sold, and the total amount of items that will be taken from the player's inventory are displayed.

For Purchases

select the desired item from the list with the "Select item for purchase" button. Then set the price per purchase, item quantity purchased, and number of purchases. Here again, as assistance, the text above "Create Purchase" is displayed with the price per item, the deposit to place, and the quantity of the total items to be purchased.

By clicking the "Create Purchase" button, the down payment is removed from the player's inventory and deposited with the offer on the table.

Alternative Currency

If the admins have activated alternative currency, players can select an one from the drop-down and the checkbox "Use item as Payment".

After Selling / Purchasing

If a customer has visited the Trade Table and accepted an offer, the owner can claim the profits at the bottom of the Shop Manager. If payment was made with the standard currency, it is transferred to the inventory with the "Withdraw x Simple Coins" button. The name Simple Coins will be replaced by that of the global currency.

If items were purchased or not paid with the standard currency, the items are transferred to the inventory with the "Withdraw bought / payment items" button. Note that the player's weight is ignored in both transactions, so have a chest ready!

Alternatively, the Trade Collector can be used to consolidate profits from several surrounding tables.
