Genesis: Part 2 features several missions which can be done alone or in a group, and each Mission has an Alpha, Beta, and Gamma difficulty. Some missions allow you to use tamed creatures (limited to 1 per survivor in the simulation), some provide a high-level creature for you to use during the mission, and some do not allow creatures to be used. (Said creature gets left behind, creatures in cryopod cannot be unpodded within the mission.) Missions can be repeated as often as you want.

Each mission can be started near either Eden or Rockwell Garden Mission Terminal, only requiring you to be close to it to access the mission terminal from inventory menu. While in progress, selected mission is inaccessible for a new mission until it is done.

If a survivor loses all their HP in simulation mission, they will be thrown out of the mission and returning to the last used terminal at full HP instead of actually dying with all their gears intact. If there are tamed dinos that was brought over, they will be sent back the instant the last survivor hits the metal dirt and sent back to the last used mission terminal. However, disconnection, much like Boss Arena, carries the same dangerous penalty of losing all gears and dinos (if the last survivor lost connection) inside the mission and won't reappear outside the terminal.

All types of missions (Except Hunt) are set within the mainframe simulation instead of being within the game map.

Following is a list of all available missions.

Mission Types

The following mission types can be found in Genesis: Part 2:

Hunt
A Hunt Mission is a type of mission where you follow tracks on the ground until you encounter groups of specific Creatures to either tranquilize and capture, or down and kill them, depending on the mission. Often these traverse across dangerous pathways.
Any survivor participating in this mission involving capturing targeted creature will have Harpoon Launcher with unlimited Net Projectile equippable as mission item by pressing Q at any time.
As of current, these missions are unavailable in Single Player or any unofficial Servers.
Gauntlet
An arena-style survival mission where you have to survive through 10 rounds where zone-specific dinos spawn and attack you. In this arena, you cannot use your own weapons or dinos. Only arena-spawned weapons are allowed during the mission, but you can use the armor you have on.
All weapons spawned in the arena are available, but most costs points earned through battling in the current arena (You do not need tekgram to use any of the tek weapons). Purchased weapons and upgrades will have a use limitation of up to 4 arenas (including the current arena they are on) based on what kind of weapon. You can also use point to either purchase the VR creatures to assist (they are marked as neutral, and can easily be killed by friendly fire) in the arena, or saving up 10,000 points to summon one of three Guardian from Island to assist.
None of the creatures will be able to grab you, but they can still inflict debuffs to a certain degree.
Race
A Race Mission is a straight forward "follow the arrow as fast as you can" type of mission where you will be racing on a high-level dino temporarily given to you for the mission's duration. These are marked with a flag symbol.
Maze
A dungeon-esque mainframe simulation located deep within the Genesis ship, where you have to clear through the ordeal of twisted amalgamations made by Rockwell, and corrupted VR creatures. You can only bring whatever armor and weapon you possess, and if the mission permits, 1 creature per survivor within the mission. These are marked with several circular-like circuit icon.
