Locations found

Do you guys think it would make sense to add a "Locations found" section to the creature guide, where editors can list the World Map regions that spawn the creatures? If so, should we have a standard format to this, or just leave it up to editors? --Danlev (talk) 18:42, 17 September 2015 (UTC)

Once biomes become more implemented, that will definitely be a good idea. We should probably work on it until then. Someone could make a locationlist template.

Add Weight in Infobox

Could someone add weight of the dinos in the infobox (e.g. Raptor = 85)? Should be useful for elevators. --DaJud 25 September 2015

No saddle needed comment

Looked through the info box several times, and cant figure out how it adds the no saddle needed part? what would that be? Dinobros3000 (talk) 01:26, 11 October 2022 (UTC)

"No saddle needed" is not taken from the infobox itself (it could just give a look to the equipment string, but no). It's extracted somewhere from the main Special:CargoTables lists, in which modded saddles are not. The Template:Infobox creature figures that if it doesn't find the saddle for this creature in the table, then this creature doesn't nedd saddle. If you want to fix this, you need to edit your own template, like Mod:ARK Additions did with Template:Infobox creature ARK Additions, then build your own cargo tables. It's not drawn from Cargo, the creature infobox does no queries on it. Instead, it's based on the equipment parameter. "None" is an accepted value and displays "no saddle needed". Saddles that are not needed for riding are hard-coded in the template at the moment (this will change). Alex4401 (talk) 18:13, 11 October 2022 (UTC)

I think I want an custom one anyway? My creatures are going to sleep at either night or day, so id be nice to have a box in there that says it... though I don't really understand how these work, a little more technical than I understand with HTML. Dinobros3000 (talk) 18:45, 11 October 2022 (UTC)

I've understood the question like:"Why when I add a modded saddle in equipment, the template displays both "No saddle needed" AND the saddle name?". This still happens on fr like fr:Mod:Oceania/Kronosaurus in saddle row. When I replace by a vanilla saddle, I haven't the double display. Chatmaigre888 (talk) 21:56, 11 October 2022 (UTC)
