Picture removal

Hi, why removing an official picture and a regular section of a creatures page (References) in Fasolasuchus page?Chatmaigre888 (talk) 22:16, 28 August 2023 (UTC)

Why I did it

That wasn't an official picture of the Fasola saddle, that was fanart

Precisely, this has been released from Community Crunch, WC fanzine. And as it's specified as a fan art, what does prevent to post this file?

• What do you mean by "WC fanzine?"
• ASA, the Fasolasuchus, nor it's saddle hasn't been released yet, so we don't know if it will have one or not
• This fan art was released before ASA
• I can tell that the fan art does not have the same texture or design as the official concept does

There was a page for Fan Art. The reason for, is separating official content (which is what is documented in articles in the main space unless an article is very clearly intended for fan-content) from unofficial content. It's been discontinued since we left Fandom, and replaced with STA and the official Discord.

Fan art that appears in Community Crunches is not considered official content in any way or form. It is merely being highlighted by the community team at Wildcard (and frankly nowadays seems to only fill a role of a filler/padding as CCs tend to be empty). Unless it makes it into the game or the specific piece of the "fan art" is said by Wildcard to be included in some form in future in an unaltered form, it does not belong in the main space. All he sent me was a ASA Steam key for wiki work, I play ark on xbox, not steam. Second, how do you put those icons I made for Fenrisúlfr (Someone already put it in the inbox, but it looks too small), Rubble Bear, and Hati and Sköll in their inboxs , I still need to figure out how to do it. Is there a much easier way to do it? User:Cbmanos11

Custom icons are being discontinued in favour of coloured icons (Chrome doesn't see them yet due to missing functionality support in the browser engine... workaround coming next week IIRC). Alex4401 (talk) 21:05, 27 October 2023 (UTC)
