Treasure Map is a loot-finder mechanic in  ARK: Survival Ascended as part of the Bob's Tall Tales DLC.

Obtaining

The Treasure Map is obtainable randomly from any wild creature that drops Special Loot after being killed, the map has a 5% of chance to appear on the special loot dropped by the creature.

Usage

The Treasure Map pings a location on the map where a treasure chest is buried and can be claimed by the player.

Use the Consume button once in the player's inventory and a ping will appear on the UI, once the player is there they can use a  Shovel to unearth the  Buried Treasure Chest.

Notes

• The fastest way to obtain treasure maps is by focussing on hunt creatures that always drops a loot bag (Mainly creatures that drops Tributes).
