Amount of Bonus Damage/Resistance

I posted this to the steam discussion that prompted me to test this, so I might as well post it here as well in case anyone sees fit to question my numbers:
I took 2 of my raptors, a male and a female, and took them a little ways away from my base. I took the female far enough away from the male to remove the mate-boost effect, wrote down my male's health of 2164.2, and then poked him with my pike, which brought him down to 1956.1, dealing 190.1 damage, I then brought the female back, waited for his health to fully recover, and poked him again, dealing only 139.4 damage. So he got ~27% damage reduction from the mate-boosting. I repeated the test again with same results. I then found a nearby carbonemys (literally 10 feet away, how convenient) and tranqed him. I separated the female raptor and checked the turtles health to be 839.0, and hit him with my male for 67.4 damage. I then brought the female back over and hit the turtle again, dealing 89.7 damage (the male was not moved at all during this process, so the turtle was hit in the same spot). This amounts to ~25% damage increase.

According to the DevKit (v 210), mate-boosted creatures seem to have a receiving damage-reduction to 66% and a giving damage-increase to 133%. I checked Raptor, Saber, Ankylo and Mammoth, they all use the default values of the creature-base-blueprint. There might be others which have different numbers, though. What the game does with these multiplicators I'm not sure, there could be still other multiplicators affecting the final values. --Cadaeib (talk) 17:44, 22 September 2015 (UTC)
