Overview
The Generic Resource exists within the game files but is not obtainable through normal gameplay.
After the PS4 v533.14 server release, users started to report that you could get this item by fishing during the Ark: Love Evolved 5 event.
it has no texture on the current pc version as of 3-25-2023, although a long time ago it had one, mind you this was before atlas was even announced but it uses the texture (but not pallet) that would be used for the base wood in atlas, for some reason it used a purple and black pallet though. it would seem they intentionally removed it because the texture is not in the game files in ark and atlas as of 3-25-2023
On Xbox v797.24, if you have honey on a fishing pole and load it with an additional honey you will get one honey and a generic resource.
