You need to stop being aggressive and stubborn. Not only your are removing my edits, but also the edits of Eclipse and the edits of the user who wrote "Note that Dragon's fire breath ignores herbivores' fire resistance and saddle armor, and will deal more damage than the Daeodon can effectively heal unless on passive healing (which makes healing erratic and unreliable, so the best option is to not use one at all and replace it with a ridden rhino or other DPS dealers.)", as it can be seen on the version just before you started to edit the page https://ark.wiki.gg/index.php?title=Dragon&oldid=533753.
This paragraph you keep adding: ** Most of the damage Dragon deals comes from the Fire Breath which ignores herbivores' fire resistance and saddle armor (so  Therizinosaurus does not take less damage from the Fire Breath). The Fire Breath does percent-based damage which can deplete up to 20% of the dinos Max Health in a few seconds, which is far more than the Sweet Vegetable Cake can effectively heal. Furthermore, the Therizinosaurus has a weaker Melee Damage stat (weaker base and weaker gain per wild level) so it doesn't have any real advantage over the Rex and is less likely to defeat the Alpha Dragon before being decimated by the Fire Breath.
is basically useless, since you are just repeating an information already present above. And the conclusion of your paragraph makes no sense, that's not because theriz have less base Damage stat and weaker gain per level that it does less good than rexes. A boss fight is not resumed by the damage stat (except for rexes, because otherwise they will die to the 5 fire breath, so you need high damage for rexes, only for rexes). Even low level theriz can handle a dragon thanks to the insane amount of healing provided by Veggie Cakes, the amount of heal provided by a Deaodon cannot compete with veggie cakes over time. Theriz can negate 1 Fire Breath per minute, while your rexes will die in less than 7 Fire Breath (at best...).
You should stop talking about rexes under the Theriz bullet point to be honest, because it seems that you don't know how the theriz strategy works since you are talking about damage stat.
Daeodon healing cap: [1] and [2]
Veggie cakes healing cap: [3] and [4]

  • On 19 dinos with 27.5k HP (for example 19 rexes with 100% imprint and 45 wild + 20 tamed levels), a Daeodon (with 100% imprint and 45 wild + 60 tamed levels in Food) will have no more food after 51 seconds of healing at full rate. This represents a total of 130 815 HP (which is 6 885 HP per dino).
  • Even if you manage to force feed your Daeodon with 100 basic kibbles, it will only provide 9k food, which is negligible compared to the Food stat of a good Daeodon (133k for a Daeodon with 100% imprint and 45 wild + 60 tamed levels).

While the Daeodon will get cap (no food) after 51 seconds at full healing rate, the veggie cakes can go much further:

  • If you place 15 cakes per inventory it will take 7 minutes and a half for the 20 herbivores to consume them, and will give a total of 630 000 HP (31 500 HP per dino, considering 20 herbivores at 21k HP or more).
  • Using 15 Veggie Cakes per dino on 20 herbivores with 21k HP will heal 4.8x more (over 7 minutes and 30 seconds) than using Daeodon healing on 19 dinos with 27.5k HP (over 51 seconds, which is the cap for an average good Daeodon).
  • Using 28 Veggie Cakes per dino on 20 herbivores with 21k HP will heal 9x more (over 14 minutes) than using Daeodon healing on 19 dinos with 27.5k HP (over 51 seconds, which is the cap for an average good Daeodon).
  • And so on... See links to graphs above.

    • Now that your claim about Theriz having higher DPS has been debunked, you change your angle to "having more regen". Once again your data is wrong as it doesn't account the fact that the Rex has higher DPS and is capable to defeat the Dragon in much less than 7 minutes. Furthermore your understanding of the Daeodon mechanics is completely false, there is no direct correlation between the food points drained and the health point restored. The Daeodon can heal much faster than Veggie Cakes but it drains food extremely fast. If the food is too low, only a limited number of Rexes will be healed. Force feeding with stacks of Kibbles can definitely fix this problem as a whole stack can be force fed in seconds, and is enough to allow the Daeodon to once again heal all Rexes simultaneously. Once the mechanics are correctly understood and used, it is clear that the efficiency of the Daeodon healing far surpasses that of the Veggie Cake. Koyit20512 (talk) 14:59, 14 March 2024 (UTC)
    • You have no right to call my paragraph useless, it gives a different point of view backed up with plenty of technical details. You understand nothing and refuse to accept contradictory arguments. Enough, I will restore it and file a report for abuse. Koyit20512 (talk) 14:59, 14 March 2024 (UTC)
