Harvesting with Doedicurus

I just tried to use the Doedicurus to take Obsidian but does not take it. Even my friends say that with Doedicurus you can not take Obsidian.151.64.240.102 15:53, 8 June 2016 (UTC)

Hi, the doed can only gather it from certain obsidian-nodes. On the island it's not possible from the snowy obsidian, only from the non-snowy ones. Where did you try to gather it (map, appearance of node)?--Cadaeib (talk) 16:49, 8 June 2016 (UTC)

Tried harvesting obsidian using the Doedicurus on TheCenter. Tried it in the skull mouth, only gave me stone (as described on this page). The obsidian nodes on the lava/volcano island do not work (anymore?), too. Can anyone confirm? Seb3sec (talk) 14:04, 29 July 2016 (UTC)
