I'm confused about how the additive taming-bonus: Ta is used in the calculation.

On this page (Creature Stats Calculation) it says: V = (B * ( 1 + Lw * Iw) + Ta * TaM)

On the page "Breeding" there are two examples where Ta is used like this: V = (B * ( 1 + Lw * Iw) + B * Ta * TaM)

If it is the former, then Ta*TaM will add 0.075% damage, which is almost nothing.

If it is the latter, then Ta*TaM will add 7.5% damage.

Hi, it should be always like the first equation. I couldn't find the second equation on the breeding-page, can you point out where it's written like this? In the end it doesn't matter for damage, as the base-value is always 100% (multiplying by 1 doesn't change the value).--Cadaeib (talk) 11:19, 3 February 2016 (UTC)
Hi Im new here so sorry if I'm doing this wrong. I think a better way of showing what the op means is adding a "()" like this V = (B * (( 1 + Lw * Iw) + Ta * TaM)) Also in this calc for dmg is "B" 100% or isn't it the raw dmg value? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Layman333 (talk • contribs) at 14:28, 28 May 2016‎ (UTC). Hi, as mentioned, the first equation is the correct one (without the extra parenthesis). The Taming-Add-Bonus is not dependant on the basevalue. For damage, the basevalue is always 100%.--Cadaeib (talk) 14:43, 28 May 2016 (UTC)

Up to Date?

Are these formulas up to date? I just ran the numbers for my carbonemys, and the results are way off. Cammcken (talk) 18:26, 29 September 2017 (UTC)

Question about formulas.

Hey, I've been trying to work through these equations (making a sheet to figure out the Lw variable), and the Rex Health example confused the heck out of me. Specifically, the quote here: "V = (B * ( 1 + Lw * Iw) + Ta * TaM) * (1 + TE * Tm * TmM) * (1 + Ld * Id * IdM) V = (1000 * ( 1 + 5 * 0.2) + 0.5 * 0.14) * (1 + 0.82 * 0 * 0.44) * (1 + 12 * 0.27 * 0.2) V = 3296.1"

Where is the first 0.2 value coming from? It should be replacing the variable Iw, which is stated above as "Iw = 5% = 0.05". Looking at the givens (above each formula) and the rex page, I think perhaps the Iw values for health and melee got swapped. --199.250.57.231 22:20, 17 October 2016 (UTC) (Shades)

Hi, thanks for noting that. The values were switched, it's fixed now. --Cadaeib (talk) 09:02, 18 October 2016 (UTC)
