The Bronto Bone Costume is dropped by skeletal Brontos during the ARK: Fear Evolved and ARK: Fear Evolved 2 event or crafted in a Cooking Pot during the ARK: ARKaeology event. It can be applied to a tamed Bronto to make it look like a skeleton.

Obtaining

During Fear Evolved, Skeletal Bronto will randomly spawn around the island. They spawn very rarely, similar to Alpha Predators. Killing and looting one of these creatures will yield a Bronto Bone Costume
The Skeletal Bronto's inventory must be looted by hand in order to get the costume. If you or your mount harvest the corpse, the costume will be lost.

The Bronto Bone Costume can also be used to summon Witch Hat Skins.

This skin can be unlocked by completing the Professional Explorer Achievement, after which it will be available in your inventory whenever you respawn.

Notes

• Due to their large size and unusual appearance, it is not difficult to spot a Skeletal Bronto from a distance.
• Aside from their rare spawns and alternate appearance, Skeletal Brontos appear to have the same stats as normal Brontos.
• While hunting for Skeletal Brontos, killing any other creatures you come across will allow room for more spawns, increasing your chances of finding one.
• When you acquire a Bronto Bone Costume, you will keep it, even after the event is over.
