The Hyaenodon Meatpack can be equipped to any  Hyaenodon after you have tamed it. Can be unlocked at level 19.

The Meatpack does not allow survivors to ride the Hyaenodon, but it provides an armor buff for the creature. It also increases the spoil timer of any type of consumable stored inside the Meatpack by x2 (x8 in total) and cuts the weight of all meat by 60%.

Notes

• Interestingly, the meatpack is unlocked at level 19 but requires  Metal Ingots in order to craft it, so if a player is playing solo he will need to wait one more level to unlock the  Refining Forge and refine the  Metal with it to craft the meatpack.
• Its one of the few craft recipes that mades into the player's inventory AND needs  Metal Ingots to craft it.
