Notes & Trivia
- There is a bug that causes creatures to overspawn inside the cave and outside the cave on nearby mountains. In severe cases, there will be multiple, tightly packed groups of hundreds of creatures. This could causes extreme lag or crashes when players are in render distance of the cave. If you manage to get inside the cave, the overpopulation is a great source of XP, but you need a strong dino to kill the thousands of creatures within.
- Cave creatures will attack Megalania on sight. If they cannot reach Megalania, however, they will still keep moving toward it relentlessly. This also contributes to the server lag or crashes.
- For playing single player, you can keep the lag manageable by running the admin command "destroywilddinos". Which destroys all untamed creatures on the map.
- Megalosaurus is only found at land entrance near a pond.
- Instead of saying "artifact is in this cave", "artifact chamber is connected with this cave" should be more appropriate, because the entire land portion, where deadly creatures are found, is totally unnecessary for the artifact retrieval.
