Whistling
Whistling allows Survivors to commands tames by remote, without the need to manually order each creature one at a time. Whistle commands are selected with ' or Hold T, Hold , Hold , Hold . Once given, a whistle may apply to the single tame the Survivor is looking at, or to multiple tames.
Mastering whistle commands may take a while for new players, however it is a crucial skill to acquire for efficient tames management as well a lifesaver in combat. For single player and solo tribes, it's the only efficient way to deploy effective combat tactics and schemas that can make a huge difference in Boss fights.
Group Whistles
Group Whistles apply to all tames in the near and in the current whistle group, or to all tame in the near if no Tame Group is selected. A green chevron indicates the creature is following group whistles, while a yellow chevron indicates the tame has been set to ignore group whistles via its radial menu (Hold E, Hold , Hold , Hold ).
The current whistle group on the Tame Groups menu on all editions of ARK. Moreover, on PC they can be selected on the fly using the NumPad numbers (note: NumLock must be enabled), pressing the same number again will toggle between the specific Tame group or to None which always has all creatures in it.

Notes
- The exact range of the whistles is not known( AKA if a your flyer is stuck midair and the name is not visible the whistle is useless)
- For Xbox One and PlayStation 4 hold Left-Bumper and press up and down on D-Pad (for Xbox hold B for the call menu)
- Looking through a Spyglass greatly increases the range and accuracy of the "Follow One" and "Attack This Target" whistles, allowing you to call your dinosaurs from farther away or send them against a distant target.
