The Tek Trident is an end-game melee weapon introduced with the release of Aquatica. It is the upgraded version of a  Spear.

Obtaining

The Tekgram can be unlocked by defeating  Fractalis on any difficulty.

Useage

The Tek Trident does not require any fuel like other Tek-tier Weapons like the  Tek Sword. It can be used like its predecessor by either using its melee attack (Lmb, , , ) or throwing it (Rmb, , , ). By holding Alt-Fire, you can charge the throw, which results in more damage being dealt and the Tek Trident having a longer range.

Using its melee attack deals 30 damage, slightly more than the Spear deals. Throwing the Tek Trident will deal between 180 and 250 Damage, a massive increase compared to the Spear. It will also stun creatures, decreasing their Movement Speed and decrease damage output significantly. Thrown, the Tek Trident can profit from headshot multipliers.

Notes

• Unlike the Spear, you will keep the Tek Trident in your inventory after throwing it, so you will not need to collect them from the corpses of creatures or players killed by it.
• Despite the info box saying it has 100% Weapon Damage, there are no higher than engram quality Tek Tridents, even when spawned in via cheat gfi TekTrident 1 10 0.
• Before patch 360.35, the Tek Trident could randomly break similarly to normal Spears.
