The Sulfur Fields is a region in the Extinction DLC.

Overview

The Sulfur Fields is a Biome in the Southwest of Extinction. It is composed of hot springs and pools with turquoise water surrounded by yellow  Rocks from which  Sulfur and  Condensed Gas can be harvested. The Biome is bordered by the Wasteland to the North and East and by The Sweeping Spires in the South.

Notes

• Be extremely careful not to touch the water, as it is highly toxic and will heavily damage you.
• This erea is extremly hot as temperatures can be comparable to the Scorched Earth super heat event, so in most cases this erea is too hot,
• Relativley few creatures spawn here which makes it relativley safe compared to other maps, except for the enviromental hazards. Still, it shouldn't be advised to build here as it is part of the Wastelands as well as the presence of meteorites.
• This is one of the few places you can obtain  Sulfur.
