General
Plant this seed in an 
Underwater Crop Plot together with Fertilizer to grow a Plant Species W.
Like the wild Plant Species W, it will oxygenate the surrounding water, as well as quickly regenerate Stamina. It can also be used to fill 
Air Jars and 
Air Bladders.
You can gather the seeds from wild Plant Species W by swimming to it and pressing the use key. Doing so will eject a Seed, and you will have to wait 60 seconds before being able to do so again.
Spoil times
The Plant Z seeds do not spoil.
After a wild Plant Species W plant spits out a seed, you have a 30 second timer to pick it up before it decomposes.
Notes / Trivia
- Their icon is a recolored
Plant Species Y Seed.
