Combat

This section describes how to fight against the Itsy and Bitsy.

General

The arena is covered in wide areas of cobwebs that slow down survivors who step in them. The Broodgenetrix has two attacks, a simple bite and a ranged attack where the Broodgenetrix spits out acidic globules. These acidic globules decimate the durability of the survivor's armor upon impact. The Broodgenetrix summons Araneo minions from the ceiling, which spit webbing in order to slow the survivor down.

Strategy

The Broodgenetrix is a large and slow moving target. The survivor can jump in order to avoid being slowed by the webbed floor, and move to each corner of the arena to shoot at the Broodgenetrix. Ranged weapons such as   Compound Bow or Pump-Action Shotgun can be used against it. The survivor can consume   Focal Chili that can help to run faster.

Weaponry

Ranged weapons such as the Compound Bow or Pump-Action Shotgun can inflict decent amounts of damage to the Broodgenetrix. A Sinomacrops can be used instead of Tek Suit but be careful of Araneo Dropping from the ceiling

Dangers

The arena have webbed floor which slows you down significantly but when you jump often enough it won't slow you down.(mostly)

Weakness

The Broodgenetrix doesn't deal that much damage to survivors wearing decent gear, but it inflicts   Torpor. The   Araneo minions do not attack when using   Bug Repellant and the Broodgenetrix can be easily out-paced.
