The Megaraptor Egg is one of the Eggs in ARK: Survival Ascended.

Overview

Megaraptor Eggs are randomly dropped by  Megaraptors. They can be eaten or used to make  Superior Kibble for taming  Allosaurus,  Archelon,  Argentavis,  Bison,  Castoroides,  Daeodon,  Deinosuchus,  Dire Bear,  Direwolf,  Dunkleosteus,  Gasbags,  Mammoth,  Megalodon,  Megalosaurus,  Megatherium,  Paraceratherium,  Plesiosaur,  Snow Owl,  Tapejara,  Woolly Rhino and  Xiphactinus specifically, or anything that eats  Basic Kibble,  Simple Kibble or  Regular Kibble.

After two  Megaraptors mate, the resulting egg can be hatched into a baby  Megaraptor.

Grabbing an egg in the presence of wild  Megaraptors will cause them to become hostile and attack the survivor.

Incubation

Disambig.svg Main article: Incubation

The Megaraptor Egg takes ? to hatch. It must be in the temperature range of to °C / ? to ? °F to successfully hatch, otherwise it will start to lose  Health. The female  Megaraptor needs between ? and ? before having the capacity to lay eggs again. The incubation time can be reduced by up to 20% if the egg is placed in an  Egg Incubator at the ideal temperature.

Collecting

Can be collected from both wild and tamed Megaraptors.

Stealing an egg from a wild mother will cause her to chase you relentlessly.

By taming a female, you can collect the eggs without her becoming aggressive. Megaraptors cannot get the Mate Boost buff and as such, the only way to boost egg laying is with an  Oviraptor.
