Fish Scale is one of the resources in  ARK: Survival Evolved, being introduced in the Aquatica expansion map.

Usage

Fish Scale is a substitute for  Hide and can be used for everything that needs Hide. Some items released with Aquatica can only be crafted with Fish Scales.

Gathering

To harvest Fish Scales, use any creatures or tools that excell at farming Hide, like the  Chainsaw,  Metal Hatchet or  Therizinosaur.

Fish Scales can be gathered from the corpses of the following creatures

•  Qarmoutus
•  Seahorse
•  Stereolepis
•  Takifugu
•  Thunnus
