The Tapejara Egg is one of the Eggs in ARK: Survival Evolved.

Overview

Tapejara Eggs are randomly dropped by  Tapejaras. They can be eaten or used to make  Superior Kibble for taming  Allosaurus,  Argentavis,  Castoroides, ,  Daeodon,  Dire Bear,  Direwolf,  Dunkleosteus,  Gasbags,  Mammoth,  Megalodon,  Megalosaurus,  Megatherium,  Paraceratherium,  Plesiosaur,  Snow Owl,  Tapejara, and  Woolly Rhino.

After two  Tapejaras mate, the resulting egg can be hatched into a baby  Tapejara.

Grabbing an egg in the presence of wild  Tapejaras will cause them to become hostile and attack the survivor.

Incubation

Disambig.png Main article: Incubation

The Tapejara Egg takes 1h 39m 59.521s to hatch. It must be in the temperature range of 29 to 32 °C / 84 to 90 °F to successfully hatch, otherwise it will start to lose  Health. The female  Tapejara needs between 18h and 2d before having the capacity to lay eggs again. The incubation time can be reduced by up to 20% if the egg is placed in an  Egg Incubator at the ideal temperature.
