The Archelon Egg is one of the Eggs in ARK: Survival Ascended.

Overview

Archelon Eggs are randomly dropped by  Archelons. They can be eaten or used to make  Regular Kibble for taming  Anglerfish,  Ankylosaurus,  Baryonyx,  Beelzebufo,  Carbonemys,  Carnotaurus,  Dimetrodon,  Diplodocus,  Doedicurus,  Gigantopithecus,  Ichthyornis,  Kaprosuchus,  Kentrosaurus,  Lymantria,  Pelagornis,  Pteranodon,  Pulmonoscorpius,  Purlovia,  Sabertooth,  Sarco,  Stegosaurus,  Terror Bird,  Thorny Dragon, and  Velonasaur.

After two  Archelons mate, the resulting egg can be hatched into a baby  Archelon.

Grabbing an egg in the presence of wild  Archelons will cause them to become hostile and attack the survivor.

The incubation time can be reduced by up to 20% if the egg is placed in an  Egg Incubator at the ideal temperature.

Collecting

Archelon eggs can be collected from wild arhcelons or from tamed ones. By taming a female, you can collect her eggs without her becoming aggressive. She will lay them more often if you have a male Archelon for the Mate Boost and an Oviraptor nearby.
