Spalona Ziemia jest płatnym rozszerzeniem dla ARK: Survival Evolved.
Spalona Ziemia została wydana 1 września 2016 dla komputerowych wersji ARK oraz dla Xbox One. Wydanie dla PS4 ukazało się 6 grudnia.

Przegląd
Spalona Ziemia dodaje 12 nowych stworzeń, ponad 50 nowych przedmiotów, nowego bossa i całkowicie nową mapę.
Oswojone zwierzęta oraz zdobyte przedmioty mogą zostać przetransportowane do podstawowej mapy (The Island) oraz wykorzystywane przez ludzi nie posiadający dodatku. Przedmioty z DLC mogą także zostać przywołane zdalnie jeśli nie posiadasz rozszerzenia. Dwa z nowych stworzeń mają po kilka wariantów, odpowiednio Jugbug (Dający Wodę oraz dający Ropę) i Wywerna (Ognista, Elektryczna, and Toksyczna).

Spalona Ziemia posiada trzy unikalne modele pogodowe: burze piaskowe radykalnie zmniejszające widoczność oraz zmniejszające energię, przegrzanie zmniejszające twój poziom wody ze znacznie większą prędkością niż normalnie oraz powodujące uderzenie ciepła, a także burze elektryczne, które tymczasowo wyłączą urządzenia elektryczne oraz uniemożliwiające broni palnej (i Tek siodłom) wystrzelenie.
Uderzenie gorąca może być szybko zatrzymane jeżeli zbliżysz się na bardzo małą odległość do oazy. Pustynne gogle mogą zostać użyte by uzyskać lepszą widoczność podczas burzy piaskowej (jednak gracz wciąż będzie wyczerpany).
