Creazione del personaggio

Scegliendo di creare un nuovo personaggio cancellerai qualsiasi personaggio esistente che hai su questo stesso server, rimuovendoti da qualsiasi tribù e perdendo la proprietà di tutte le proprietà, quindi fai attenzione quando usi questa opzione!

Quando inizi la partita, devi creare un sopravvissuto. La creazione del personaggio è per lo più cosmetica e non influisce sulla hitbox del personaggio. Tuttavia, le dimensioni e il colore della pelle possono in qualche modo avvantaggiare lo stile di gioco del giocatore: avere un sopravvissuto basso può rendere più facile nascondersi dagli altri giocatori.

D'altra parte, se sei troppo alto, la tua testa sporgerà dalla cima dei cespugli e dalle varie strutture che ti espongono. Per un personaggio con altezza media (che si adatta comodamente attraverso i telai delle finestre), è ottimale ridurre "da predefinito": le gambe, le braccia e il busto tutte di 1 o 2 punti.

Una volta che hai finito di personalizzare l'aspetto del tuo personaggio, puoi nominare il tuo sopravvissuto che apparirà ad altri giocatori che ti avvicinano alla chat di gioco o di gioco. Ricorda che una volta creato, non è possibile modificarne l'aspetto.

Dopo che hai creato il tuo sopravvissuto, ti viene data una serie di punti di spawn sulla mappa tra cui scegliere. Appena comparso

Benvenuti nelle spiagge selvagge di ARK. Una volta che sei apparso, la tua prima priorità è creare il Piccone di pietra. Per crearlo hai bisogno di:

• (1) Pietra
• (1) Legna
• (10) Paglia

Dovresti riuscire a trovare un sacco di pietre che si trovano sulle spiagge dell'Ark (alcune pietre fanno parte dell'ambientazione del gioco e non saranno possibili raccoglierle).

Guarda sul terreno la pietra grigia, e premi eKey|Xbox|PS4 quando sei vicino ad essa per prenderla.

Per avere legna e paglia, vai da un albero e prendilo a pugni ripetutamente. Prenderlo a pugni causa la perdita della Salute per lesione, quindi dovrai prenderlo a pugni solo per raccogliere 1 di legna e 10 di paglia.

Puoi accedere al menu della creazione (scorciatoia per il pc vKey) attraverso il tuo inventario premendo PS4|Xbox poi PS4|Xbox. Questo ti mostrerà i File:Engramma.png progetti chiamati Engrammi. che hai imparato e quali materiali sono necessari per realizzare ogni oggetto. Dopo aver raccolto abbastanza materiali per creare il tuo primo piccone di pietra, premi il pulsante dell' inventario iKey|PS4|Xbox per accederci e mettere il tuo nuovo utensile nella barra veloce in basso allo schermo. ora puoi premere il tasto che hai assegnato l'utensile nella barra veloce.

Se sei fortunato, potresti non incontrare dinosauri grandi come il Tirannosauro o Raptor, ma puoi trovare una certa varietà sulla spiaggia. Ignorali finché non avrai armi per difenderti. Caccia creature inconsapevoli per Carne e Pelle. Dodo sono prede raccomandate, ma se vedi Trilobite caccialo per ottenere ricche risorse. Si possono trovare pochi predatori sulle spiagge al sud in The Island, ma attento al Dilofosauro. Possono uccidere un principiante abbastanza rapidamente, come può farlo un branco di Compsognato voraci. Evita tutti gli scontri finché non impari la sopravvivenza di base del gioco.

Creare utensili

Il tuo personaggio conosce già (3) Engrammi: Nota, Piccone di pietra e File:Toria.png Toria. Gli Engrammi sono le conoscenze di creazione che il tuo personaggio ha appreso distribuendo l'esperienza agli attributi sotto forma di punti engramma mettendoli mel menu dell'inventario. Dopo la raccolta delle Bacche come cibo e trovando Fibra dai cespugli e dal fogliame, puoi trovare altre risorse ovunque.

• Usare lo strumento giusto per i lavori è importante.
  • Pietra: File:Piccone.png Piccone prende più Selce mentre File:Accetta.png Accetta prende più Pietra.
  • Legno: File:Piccone.png Piccone migliore per Paglia mentre File:Accetta.png Accetta prende più Legna.
  • Cadaveri: File:Piccone.png Piccone risulta ottimo per Carne e con File:Accetta.png Accetta si ottiene Pelle, Chitina e Cheratina (utilizza Clava di legno per raccogliere più Polimero organico dai Kairuku).

Con questi strumenti, puoi iniziare correttamente a raccogliere risorse e creare tutti gli strumenti di cui hai bisogno per sopravvivere.

Gli strumenti di sopravvivenza

Dopo aver aumentato una delle tue statistiche. Il menu Engramma apparirà per poter usare i punti per sbloccare nuovi Engrammi. Essendo all'inizio del gioco, si consiglia di investire saggiamente questi punti. Dalla sezione precedente il tuo sopravvissuto ha imparato a creare Piccone di pietra. Se non lo hai già fatto, investi i tuoi punti Engramma per imparare come creare il tuo nuovo migliore amico; File:Accetta.png Accetta. Con la capacità di raccogliere velocemente grandi quantità di Legna, crea Fuoco da campo per cucinare carne. Dalla tua esperienza di creare utensili e raccolta delle risorse, probabilmente avrai guadagnato 1 livello. Usa ciò che hai imparato per creare Lancia ed eventualmente Bola.

*Un fatto divertente, anche i giocatori d'élite con armi avanzate usano ancora lance. Per conservare le risorse che mantengono la loro tecnologia.

Ora che sei equipaggiato con gli elementi essenziali e le conoscenze di base della sopravvivenza, vai a costruire una base, esplora il gioco e divertiti. Buona fortuna, sopravvissuto!

Il tuo primo aumento di livello

Nel momento in cui hai creato il tuo primo piccone di pietra, probabilmente hai ricevuto un messaggio che hai aumentato di livello, dal momento che richiede solo 5 esperienza per aumentare di livello la prima volta. Potresti averlo perso, però. Vedrai il messaggio se apri il tuo inventario. Sarai in grado di migliorare le statistiche del personaggio così come punti Engramma per imparare nuove ricette di creazione.

Una volta nel tuo inventario, premi il [+] vicino a una delle statistiche per aumentare la statistica che si desidera. Vedi attributi per maggiori informazioni sulle statistiche.

Inventario

L' inventario in ARK: Survival Evolved è un'abilità del sopravvissuto per contenere oggetti. Si accede premendo il tasto predefinito i|Xbox|PS4. Molti oggetti sono tenuti in pile da 100 mentre altri come armature e strumenti non sono impilati. Le creature e le unità di archiviazione (armadio) possono contenere oggetti.

Barra veloce

La barra veloce è il luogo in cui posizioni gli oggetti di collegamento dal tuo inventario alla barra nella parte inferiore dello schermo. Nella sopravvivenza è importante poter scegliere rapidamente lo strumento o l'oggetto giusto quando è necessario. L'impostazione di questa barra è importante per l'inizio della tua avventura.

• È saggio avere i tuoi strumenti e armi importanti come File:Accetta.png Accetta o Lancia nella barra veloce.
• Molti sopravvissuti mangiano il loro cibo dal loro inventario tuttavia può aiutare a riempire immediatamente Barattolo d'acqua dalla barra veloce in un area pericolosa.
• Per la costruzione, è più facile avere le strutture che hai scelto temporaneamente anche nella barra veloce.

Fame e idratazione

Hunger

Staying satiated is necessary to survive on the ARK. Gathered berries can be eaten, and hunting can be quite satisfying. Simply put the desired food in your hotbar, press the corresponding button, and you can eat anything you deem fit (including some not so gracious choices.) So be careful what consumable you place in the Hotbar, accidents are prone to happen.

• Your hunger meter fills as you eat, and depletes as you exert yourself. Survival is key, starvation is death.

*  Hunger will increase more quickly when you regenerate stamina. And the   Cold makes you starve faster.

Hydration

Staying hydrated is essential to your survival on the ARK. To do this simply walk into a shallow portion of water, look down and press eKey|Xbox|PS4 to drink! You can also submerge yourself in a body of water, though depending on the location you run the risk of attracting predators if by a swamp or river:

• Megapiranha
• Sarco
• Leech
• Kaprosuchus

The ocean:

• Megalodon
• Cnidaria
• Manta

If you wish to fill a water container of some sort, move towards a body of water or in the rain, place the bottle in your hotbar and then press the corresponding hotbar buttons to the water container and it will fill with delicious ark water (press the same key to drink the water when filled).

• Your hydration meter will fill up and stay full when it's raining.

• Thirst steadily decreases with time, but will decrease more quickly when you regenerate stamina.

• The "Hot" status effect increases water consumption.

Finding Food

Berries

• Berries are a good source of food and picking them as you walk is a good way to stock up. But be careful of eating these two berries:
  • Narcoberry
    • in quantities above 3 or 4 will put you to sleep.
  • Stimberry
    • will rapidly make you thirsty, but will counteract the drowsiness/ Torpidity that especially comes from certain poisons, such as that of the Scorpion ( Pulmonoscorpius), Narcoberry and Troodon, where falling asleep could mean death.

Hunting

While hunting gives good experience, hide, and meat among other resources. Exercise caution when hunting anything other than Coel or Dodos early in the game, as you can be killed easily starting off.

Remember even   Dilos or several   Compy can easily overwhelm a new player.

• Spear Fishing is sometimes a quick but easy way to get raw meat. Just keep an eye out for the deadly water predators such as the:
  • Megalodon
  • Manta
  • Piranha

,and the Sabertooth Salmon (when hit will attack you in packs)

• You can also eat Raw Meat at the cost of a few HP and smaller amount of food recovered than Cooked Meat. It's a quick solution to hunger but generally not recommended.
• Use Campfires to cook Raw Meat and Raw Fish Meat. Cooked Meat always tastes better than raw, but more importantly it helps restore your Health and satisfies your Hunger.

Preparing for Specific Situations

Combat

• Once you have the Spear engram, craft a couple of spears and fight some Dilos, as they will give you some combat experience. You will have to learn to dodge (circle strafing works well) as they have a poison spitting attack that blinds you and severely slows your movement speed.

• Using the landscape to your benefit is an extremely important aspect when fighting dinos as it can give you the edge both in fighting as in taming.

• Basic weapon handling is very important as you will notice that the Stone Axe and the stabbing attack of the spear have different ranges, the more distance you keep with the dino you are fighting the safer you are.

• Always keep an eye on your stamina and health bars, as you wont be able to run when stamina is depleted and when your health is quite low you will be injured and move slowly. If this happens during a tough fight, your chances of success will be really low. Always equip food and Stimberries in your hotbar, as this is the easiest way to recover health and stamina respectively.

Searching for Dinos to Tame

• Torpor-inducing gear, obviously.
• Consider bringing lots of Armor. You need to be able to take a lot of hits from the potential tame while in the Taming process.
• Taming food. If you know what you're looking for, bring extra of that dino's taming food. If you don't know what to expect, bring Raw Mutton and Advanced Crops. If you happen to be travelling on a platform saddle pack perishable items in a Refrigerator or Preserving Bin. If you wish to use less advanced items for feeding your tame you should collect them on the spot with a dino.
• Traps. If you know what to expect, bring several traps for its size. If not, just bring smaller traps if it's just you. Large Bear Traps, Chain Bolas, etc. Won't be useful if you don't also have lots of preparations for a large tame.
• Extra Narcoberries or Narcotics to keep unconscious creatures asleep.
• Additional needed supplies suiting your target tame. For example, if you're going to tame a Rex, bring walls and anything else that will be useful.
• If the Extinction Engrams are accessible, have a few Cryopods on standby if you plan to tame a couple of large Creatures that could cause a problem in moving. Mind the decay timer on it though, however.

Exploring

• Dinos. You never know what valuable materials or dangerous dinos you may come across, so bringing a few decent, possibly expendable dinos to fight and hold more weight is a great idea.
• GPS if possible. If not, then bring a Compass. These are what let you draw your map, and the GPS can help you mark important places on the map.
• Lots of food.
• If possible, bring Armor suiting all enviroments.
• Taming gear. Though not always useful when exploring, as taming takes you off track and slows you, taming gear is something to consider.
• Any extra available gear that you know will be useful in your situation.

Raiding

If you play on any multiplayer PvP server, raids are a major component of the gameplay. The chances of surviving any raid is pretty low. So try to balance good gear and minimum valuables. The Inventory that players take with them on raids varies immensely, so this section will combine different role's preferences and general tips. Note: this section WILL NOT discuss raiding strategies.

• Decent armor. Flak is preferable, as it provides decent protection, but can be expensive to make several sets. Chitin is the next best thing, providing moderate protection and being fairly cheap.
• Weapons that suit your role. Guns, Bows, Pikes, Swords, Explosives, Assault Rifles, Fabricated Sniper Rifles, and even Rocket Launchers are all commonly used.
• Bolas. Any player hit with a Bola is doomed.
• Food/Water. This includes any available dishes made from Rockwell Recipes.
• Resources for repairing Armor and Tools, if they can be repaired from your Inventory.
• Other than the above, bring whatever will help you, depending on your enemy's base, location, and strength. If you're raiding very weak players (Not encouraged, as it is bullying, unless they attacked you first) don't risk your good gear. Save it for stronger foes. Minimize items and gear that you will regret losing, and will not be very helpful in the raid. Remove all items from your Inventory that are not required for raids.

Obelisks and Beacons

If you peer out into the distance, there are enormous floating structures casting an otherworldly light. They are called Obelisks. Beneath the Obelisk, is a strange protruding piece of metal with a button attached ontop, called a 'terminal'. The terminal grants access to the Obelisk. Whenever an individual present their trophies as tribute under a Obelisk a portal will open for a limited amount of time. Beyond the portals is where the Guardians awaits their challengers. As long as the portal is inactive, it's moderately safe to explore the area. However, if your curiosity finds itself before the terminal you may be transported to an alternate world.

Beacons

Pay attention to the strange pillars of light with a fairly large mechanical object slowly descending from the sky. Those are called Beacons, and have a variety of supplies within. But do not be fooled, keep in mind that the distance is probably further than you had visioned and the beacons don't last forever. If one appears near you, it might be a good idea to check it out, but notice the color:

• Each color resembles the level granted access.

*White/Prismatic beacons require you to be level 3 to open them.
*Green |requires|level|15
